A great story and a twisted tale of love, kidnapping, fear and deception. The author keeps you wanting to turn the pages and find out how it all ends. You can just close your eyes and picture being right there with the characters. Great book that will make you smile from start to finish.

What a great first book by Amelia Short. Hope there will be more. Great story, kept me turning the pages wanting to know what happens next. I wanted it to go on. Looking forward to the sequel! Here's hoping.

This one had one of the best context and geography of Crete together with a realistic story, that did make me howl at times!

Pure escapism, totally predictable but a lovely story to read in a miserable dark winter. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

I’ve loved reading these 2 books. I am glad there will be more to follow and I look forward to reading them too. I love Greece but not returning till next year so it’s lovely to read these at home in Cornwall taking me back there (in my head ?) until then.

I read the 1st book in this series and stumbled over the 2nd book. It didn’t disappoint and it was great to ‘catch up’ with old friends. Can’t wait for book 3 of the series
