Who on Earth is Amelia Short?

Greetings!

My name is Amelia Short, and I am a contemporary romance novelist. I like to write about romantic adventures set in beautiful, sunny places. Here is a little bit about me.

I am lucky enough to live by the seaside in beautiful Devon, England, with my scrumptious husband, where I like to take inspiration from the rolling waves and fresh sea air. It’s the perfect place for long walks where I can think through my plot lines or listen to podcasts and audiobooks.

I love to travel and explore as often as my work and finances will allow. I like nothing more than to delve into a good holiday read (even before the flight has taken off!) and hope to produce books that will give my readers the same enjoyment.

I love to watch TV programs about buying properties abroad, and my favourites are A Place in the Sun, and the Amanda & Alan series of renovations - the Italian Jobs, Spanish Job and of course their latest, the Greek Job, set in wonderful Corfu.

As a self-published author, I seem to be on a constant learning curve of writing craft, marketing and general self-publishy stuff, and there is a lot to learn! I currently have three books published, the first Getting Away, is a stand-alone, while the second, A Place in Greece, can be read as a stand-alone, but also as a first in series.
