When I started writing A Place in Greece, I knew there was more than a single story to tell. Not only did I want to write about my heroine Gabrielle's journey from England to Greece, I wanted to delve into the lives of the rest of the people in her life and in her newly found hometown of Koustafali in Crete. 

This is a series of summer romance books, of which My New Greek Life is the second instalment. It continues the story of Gabrielle Lowe, who moved to Greece on a drunken whim and made a life for herself by renovating a dilapidated property. This second book continues her journey as she finds her feet in Koustafali and her blossoming romance with local carpenter, gorgeous Georgios Kanalis. By now, her life seems more perfect than ever, but as we know, nothing perfect can last forever and when the past comes knocking on the door to The Old Kafenion, her perfect life is thrown into turmoil.
